Shipping:

In the continental US: Due to new postal rates, first class shipping cost on LPs now depends on your zip code. Please include it when ordering and we'll get right back to you with the cost. Cheaper & slower Media Rate is $3.00 for the first item $0.50 for each additional, regardless of the items' formats. If you're just getting CDs and/or 7"s (not LPs, 10"s, or books though) first class shipping is $3.50 for the first CD or $3.00 for the first 7" and $0.50 each additional CD or 7". Foreign orders will be shipped @ cost (yr. choice of air/surface/other). Insurance on domestic orders is as follows (postal mishaps are the buyer's responsibility, otherwise):

Grading Explanations:

Due to time considerations, records are visually graded. All records are guaranteed.

Record/CD Condition Grades:
sealed: still sealed in shrinkwrap
new: not sealed but bought as new store stock
m-: basically perfect but not bought as new
ex: a few very minor things noticeable. It's been played a few times, but it's been in good hands.
v++: some noticeable defects. Still in collectible condition and not something you'd feel a burning need to upgrade.
v+: OK playing copy that's seen a bit of wear and tear. No skips, but surface noise/scratches.
v: not so hot, still guaranteed against skips, but it's pretty tattered.

Book Condition Grades:
new: just that...new. any defects from storage or shipping to us from the publisher will be noted.
as new: previously owned, but you wouldn't know it by looking at it
near fine (nf): very close to new, only a few small signs of wear which'll be noted in the grading description
    -else fine: means besides the noted defect, it's in great shape (e.g.: small tear on cover, else fine)
very good (vg): still in collectible condition, with some wear/defects. vg+ is in slightly better condition than vg, vg- is slightly worse.
good (g): sub-collector status book with very noticeable defects.
fair & poor: sub-sub-collector. still should be complete unless otherwise noted.

Book Sizes (books listed on this site as such are approximately these sizes):
A6: 4 1/8 x 5 7/8 in.
A5: 5 7/8 x 8 1/4 in. (your typical book size)
A4: 8 1/4 x 11 3/4 in.

Our Store

The Ecstatic Yod Collective, along with Glass Eye Books has a storefront located in western Massachusetts. We offer avant garde flotsam in all of the popular archaic formats: vinyl, print, etc. Much of our store stock is not yet on yod.com, so small want lists are accepted at websales@yod.com .

Hours: Contact us via phone or email (listed below) to schedule an appointment. Appts. are usually available 7-days a week from 10am to midnight or later. All are welcome.

Directions: Interstate Route 91 to exit 18. Go left at the end of the exit. After about 1 or 2 miles, you'll come to a stoplight. Take a left on Main St. (Route 9) in downtown Northampton. Follow Main St. about 3 miles to Florence center. Turn left at the light immediately past Miss Flo's Diner (Maple St.). Turn right on Pine St. (second or so); the Arts and Industry building is down about half a mile on the right, across from a shopping center. There is parking in front of the building and also a parking lot in the back. We're on the fourth floor in #441, on the right hand side of the building as you face it from the street.
